Book Tasting Mrs. Martin’s kindergarten, class along with Mrs. Stamm’s class, hosted a book tasting. Fifth grade students read poetry, fiction and nonfiction books to the kindergarten children. Afterward, students rated their stories. All the students had a wonderful time. #SecaucusPride
Happy Read Across America Happy Read Across America!! Read Across America was Launched in 1998 by the National Education Association (NEA), Read Across America is the nation’s largest celebration of reading. During this fun week at Huber St, we focus on motivating children to read through events, partnerships with families, and reading resources that are about everyone, for everyone. You can steer yourself in any direction you choose.”Students can come in dressed like what they want to be when they grow up (construction worker, police officer, doctor, teacher, firefighter, scientist, singer, athlete, etc.).Friday, March 4th“Why fit in when you were born to stand out?”Students are encouraged to wear rainbow or bright colors.**Please make sure that all clothing is appropriate for school.**
Happy 100th Day of School! On Tuesday February 15th, 2022 the students of Huber St celebrated the 100th day of school. Students found a fun way to celebrate the 100th day of school by participating in many different activities such as dress up as ‘100-year-olds, counting steps and objects around the building, creating special drawing ’ and complete activities related to the number 100. A fun day was had by all marking the mile stone in the school year. #SecaucusPride

Mr. Millevoi’s 4th grade exploring Valentine’s Day with a STEM project. Students in Mr. Millevoi's 4th grade learned how to construct a box, that will hold the most pieces of candy possible, for a Valentine's Day STEM project. They learned to calculate the volume and capacity of their box using play-dough and construction paper. #SecaucusPride
