At the End of the Year Award's Ceremony, homeroom teachers distributed Citizenship Awards to one student in their class who demonstrates strength of character and leadership. Our Special area teachers also distributed awards to students who displayed leadership, knowledge, and skills in their special area classes (i.e Art, Band, Computer, Science, Spanish, Music, and Physical Education.) Hour of Code 2021Students in Mrs. O'Connor's Technology Classes have been celebrating Computer Science Week by participating in an "Hour of Code!" With the Hour of Code, computer science is celebrated at every grade level. That is why every bear in Huber Street School is joining in on this learning event organized by the nonprofit Code.org and over 100 others. A global movement that believes the students of today are ready to learn critical skills for 21st-century success. Code.org #SecaucusPride
