Hour of Code 2021Students in Mrs. O'Connor's Technology Classes have been celebrating Computer Science Week by participating in an "Hour of Code!" With the Hour of Code, computer science is celebrated at every grade level. That is why every bear in Huber Street School is joining in on this learning event organized by the nonprofit Code.org and over 100 others. On Friday, June 10, 2022, students and teachers at Huber Street School had the opportunity to dunk the principal into the dunk tank. He was dunked over 20 times! Safety Assembly! Students learned the importance of fire safety , how to stop, drop and roll, and what a fireman looks like with all their equipment on.
MS. Phemsint Kindergarten Art class has been introduced to Kandinsky’s Art through the use of the Art element shape. The students used overlapping, movement, and color accompanied by the Art medium watercolor pencils and crayons. #SecaucusPride
