Congratulations to the Huber Street School 5th grade class! #Secaucuspride

On Friday June 11th, 2021, the students of Huber Street School and the entire Secaucus School District, participated in the Torch Run. The Law Enforcement Torch Run is a campaign to benefit the Special Olympics. This year over 3000 officers took on the streets of their local communities on 26 separate roots carrying the “Flame of Hope” raising funds and awareness for Special Olympics Secaucus Police Department

The SGO would like to thank you for your continued support and participation in this year’s dress-down days. We wish all of the 5th Grade students luck in Middle School. The Huber Street School family will miss you all.

Fabia Naranjo participated in a Virtual Award Ceremony for being a finalist in the Partnership for a Drug-Free New Jersey poster contest . Everyone can now view her speech.

Please note the 2020-2021 School Calendar has been updated to reflect May 28th and June 1st as closed due to unused inclement weather days.

On Tuesday, May 11th, all in person students in 2nd and 4th grade will take their school picture. Any in-person student who has not had his/her picture taken, will have their picture taken during the school day.

Additionally, any virtual student who missed our previous picture day, can have their picture taken in the afternoon. Please follow the below schedule for your allotted time:

Grades K & 1: 1:30 pm-1:50 pm
Grades 2 & 3: 1:50 pm- 2:10 pm
Grades 4 & 5 2:10 pm-2:30 pm

All students must wear their school uniform. Thank you and have a great night.

Teacher appreciation week is off to an excellent start thanks to the Huber St School PTA. From snacks on Monday to delicious Top That Donuts on Tuesday, we are feeling the love & appreciation. Thank you Huber St PTA!
