Peacekeeper’s Club is looking for canned donations for the Secaucus Food Pantry for needy families in our area for the upcoming holiday season!

Please bring canned or boxed items only . Hudson County’s Holiday Wish List: Stuffing, Cookies, Canned yams, Turkey gravy, Pasta , $10 gift to a local supermarket, Cranberry sauce, Canned corn
Marinara sauce, and Mac & cheese

Collection begins Monday, Nov. 11th - Fri. November 22nd.
Peacekeeper’s Club members will come around to collect items from homerooms.

Plans over break? How does Monster Golf sound? Nov 4th, 2019 10:30am-1:00pm, portion of the proceeds will benefit the Secaucus School Districts fundraising for St. Jude

Just a reminder that Thursday, October 24th is a School Spirit Wear Day. For a $2 donation, students, faculty, and staff can wear any Huber Street School or Secaucus shirt with uniform pants. All proceeds will go to the "End Polio Now" charity. Thank you for your support and have a great night.

Reminder: Tomorrow (Tuesday, October 22nd, 2019) is Wear Pink Day for students, faculty and staff. Students are asked to make a $1 if they wear a shirt and a $2 donation if they wear a shirt and wish to purchase a bracelet. Thank you in advance for your support.

In preparation for Halloween, please note that students will be permitted to come to school dressed in their costumes. We will have a normal school day schedule and students will NOT be dismissed during lunch period to get dressed at home (as done in the past.) Our parade is scheduled for Thursday, October 31, 2019 and will begin at approximately 1:00 PM. We will follow our usual parade route.

Mrs. Curry’s class works on their monthly Crack the Code, where students use their creativity, communication skills, and collaboration abilities in order to complete six challenges within each breakout revealing a final hidden clue

Students in Mrs.Critelli’s 3rd grade class enjoyed exploring story elements, while reading “Kumak’s Fish: A Tale from the Far North.” The story is about Kumak snagging a large fish, and needing the entire village to help bring it in. This original tall tale is set in the Arctic and has light-hearted illustrations that add vigor and glee to the playful story.

Monday, October 21, 2019, is the kick-off to School Violence Awareness Week. Students can wear a shirt with a peace sign, a tie-dye shirt or a colorful shirt of their choice with their uniform bottoms.
