Each year, in early June, our Pre-K Team puts together a wonderful program to show off what our students have learned. June 11, 2020 would have been the day that we would have been celebrating our Millridge School students in a Pre-Kindergarten Promotion Ceremony at the Arthur F. Couch Performing Arts Center. Unfortunately, the quarantine of 2020 wouldn't allow us to gather together and celebrate the accomplishments of our youngest learners. That said, to honor our Pre-K students, we have put together the very first virtual ceremony in the history of the Secaucus School District. We know that nothing replaces seeing their smiling faces and hearing their beautiful voices in person, but we hope that our Millridge School Class of 2020 Virtual Ceremony gives you a sense of hope for a brighter tomorrow.I would also like to take this opportunity to thank the faculty and staff of the Millridge School. The hard-working professionals at the Millridge School care for your little ones as if they were our little ones. They provide students with their first experiences in a school environment, and I am proud to work with them. Without further ado, we proudly present the Millridge School Class of 2020.Thank you, stay safe, enjoy the show and remember, the sun will come out tomorrow!Sincerely,Robert ValentePrincipalThe Millridge SchoolVideo Details00:27 - Faculty Message02:00 - Student Message05:39 - Presenting the Class of 202011:04 - Congratulations12:22 - Credits
Every June, our 5th Grade Team puts together a wonderful program to honor our fifth graders as they make their way into Middle School. June 19, 2020 is the day that we would have been celebrating our Clarendon School and Huber Street School students in a 5th Grade Promotion Ceremony at the Arthur F. Couch Performing Arts Center.Unfortunately, the quarantine of 2020 wouldn't allow us to gather together and celebrate the accomplishments of our emerging Middle Schoolers. That said, to honor our 5th Grade students, we have put together a virtual promotion ceremony. We know that nothing can replace watching your child walk across the stage, but we hope that our Elementary School Class of 2020 Virtual Ceremony helps to memorialize this life event for you and your family. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank the faculty and staff of Clarendon School and Huber Street School. The hard-working professionals at these schools take great pride in educating your children. It is an honor and a privilege to work with these educators. We are proud to present the Secaucus School District Elementary School Class of 2020.Thank you, stay safe, enjoy the show and remember, there's no place like home!Sincerely,Dr. Danielle Garzon (Clarendon School Principal)Mr. Robert Valente (Huber Street School Principal)PS- We would like to offer a special thank you to Athletic Director, Charlie Voorhees for providing the inspiration for our address to the students.Video Details00:14 - Flag Salute (Ava Krajewski & Benjamin La)00:43 - Introduction00:57 - Keynote Address (Ms. Montesano)04:56 - Student Address (Ava D'Addetta)06:21 - Citizenship Awards08:40 - Student Address (Thomas Flanagan)10:28 - Fred J. Each year, our teachers and students line the halls to cheer on our 5th graders as they exit the building to head to their promotion ceremony. This year, we won't be able to honor our 5th graders in person, so we did the next best thing. We created our very first virtual Clap-Out. Congratulations 5th graders! Good luck in Middle School.Special thanks to Mrs. Kelly O'Connor for her dedication and hard-work in creating this tribute to our students. Huber Street School is fortunate to have such a talented, caring professional.
