Happy Thanksgiving Mrs. Martin’s class celebrated the holiday by taking part in a variety of Thanksgiving themed activities. Students enjoyed looking at their classmates’ drawings and guessing what the turkey was. After, students listened to the story “Balloons Over Broadway,” by Melissa Sweet. Using a S.T.E.A.M. activity, Mrs. Martin’s class designed, created, tested, and used math to make their own Thanksgiving parade balloons. The students happily cheered and clapped for each other as their balloons moved down our parade route! The day ended with a donut party! Fun was had by all!https://youtu.be/Rnj_xITM1Pk

Kindergarten Fall Foliage The kindergarten students at Huber Street School have been learning about the season of autumn. This inspired our team to share our stunning fall foliage with students living in the south. We asked all kindergarten families to collect leaves in order to package and mail them to Stanley Switlik Elementary School in Key West, Florida. We would like to thank our students, their families, staff, and our principal, Mr. Valente, for participating in this community project.https://youtu.be/yxdoUw2Lo9A
