Hour of Code Students in Mrs. O'Connor's Technology Classes have been celebrating Computer Science Week by participating in an "Hour of Code!" With the Hour of Code, computer science is celebrated at every grade level. That is why every bear in Huber Street School is joining in on this learning event organized by the nonprofit Code.org and over 100 others. A global movement that believes the students of today are ready to learn critical skills for 21st-century success. Code.org #SecaucusPride
Reminder Half Day Schedule Just a friendly reminder that Monday 11/22, Tuesday 11/23,&Wednesday 11/24 are running a half day schedule. Dismissal is at 12:30 PM.
Thankful Bears The Huber Street School students showed their thankfulness by participating in the SGO’s First Annual Thankful Turkey. Each student wrote something or someone they were thankful for onto a feather. Students colored and decorated their individual feathers. The Turkey is displayed in the Main Hallway.

The students of Huber St. School got in the holiday spirit thanks to Ms. Yannetti and Ms. Phemsint. All grade levels enjoyed participating in Turkey Tag. From our Huber Family to Yours, Happy Thanksgiving and enjoy the holiday with your friends and family.
SGO Toy Drive The Huber Street SGO will be sponsoring a Toy Drive for the holiday season. We are asking for donations of NEW, UNWRAPPED toys for both boys and girls of all ages and interests. The Toy Drive will run from Tuesday, November 23 through December 6.
PJs for The Pantry The Huber Street School SGO sponsored a “Pajamas for the Pantry” dress down day on Wednesday 11/17. Students who participated in the event were able to wear their pajamas to school and make a donation of one or more non-perishable items. All donations will be given to the Secaucus Food Pantry.
Mrs. Phemsint’s Art Class Presents: “Please allow me to introduce myself“..... as our September “ice breaker”, after many months out of school, our entire Huber Art Family designed and shared our names in a special installation.
