Torch Run Huber Street School greeted the Secaucus Police officers who participated in this year’s Torch Run for Special Olympics. Special thanks to Captain Carlos Goyenechea and Chief of Police, Dennis Miller for their continued support of this great organization.

Spotlight: First Grade Art First grade students at Huber Street School were introduced to the style of Jim Dine, an 85 year old American Pop artist, who used lots of hearts as his subject matter. Tools, robes and Pinocchio were also his favorites. Using the Resist Effect, we created our own hearts in the style of Jim Dine.
MoHA 2020-2021 Collection debut: Ms. Phemsint’s K-3 Art classes have been celebrating International Dot Day which falls on 9/15 !Dot Day was inspired by the book The Dot~ Written and illustrated by Peter H. Welcome Back- important entry information. Good Morning! Today, 9/10, is a Cohort A day. Tomorrow Friday 9/11, will be a Cohort B day. Please have health screening complete. This is an important message for all students who will be attending school in person. Beginning on Thursday, September 10th, all bus students will enter the school through the gate on the right side of the Main Entrance, located on Paterson Plank Road. All other students will enter through the Main Entrance of the school, also located on Paterson Plank Road. Please be sure to have your mask on and to maintain social distancing. There is no change to how students will exit the school. Thank you, have a day and we look forward to seeing you!
