On Monday, January 23rd, a crew from NBC Nightly News: Kids Edition was on hand to film and interview 5th grade students from Mrs. Stamm's class about their participation in Project Linus. This wonderful project was created to provide new, handmade blankets to children in need. They look to provide a sense of security, warmth, and comfort to children who are seriously ill, traumatized, or otherwise in need. On Monday, January 30th, Huber Street School hosted our first annual LEGO Night for 1st graders. The students had a blast! Thank you to Ms. Yannetti for organizing this wonderful event.

Congratulations to the Huber Street School SCRIPPS National Spelling Bee Champion, Ranbir Bhatla. Ranbir will represent Huber Street School in the Hudson County Spelling Bee on Saturday, February 4th at the Arthur F. Couch Performing Arts Center.
