Happy Diwali!

Kavya Singh, in Mrs. Celebrano’s 3rd Grade class shared information about Diwali, Indian New Year, which her family celebrates, with her class. It began on Tuesday, November 2nd and lasts for 5 days. She brought in a book for me to read to the class which I read to them and also showed them some videos on Diwali. She also brought in the supplies for the class to make their own lanterns. I Kavya become the teacher and she instructed the class and modeled how to make the lanterns. The class had a great time making their own lanterns which they decorated with colorful ribbons and gems.
